Maria Lurdes (Rosa) Narciso, age 70 of Taunton, passed away on September 25, 2021 at Boston Medical Center surrounded by her son and daughter.
She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Narciso.
Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Furtado) Rosa.
Before retiring, Mrs. Narciso was employed with the Swank Company. She enjoyed going to mass, attending prayer groups, crocheting and crossword puzzles. Most of all Maria cherished time spent with her family.
Mrs. Narciso is survived by her loving children; Kenneth Narciso and his wife Jessica of Chelmsford and Sandy Moura and her husband Duarte of Taunton. She was the grandmother of Kenneth, Jr., Kayleigh, Liana and Aliya and sister of Manuel Rosa of Sao Miguel and the late Maria Manuela Rebello.
Maria’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 9am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saint Anthony Church School St. Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
