Maria H. (Marcucci) Navarro, age 77 of Taunton, passed away on January 31, 2018 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Armand Navarro, Sr.
Maria was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Guillermo and Felicita (Feliciano) Marcucci.
Before retirement in 2003, Maria was employed with Johnson & Johnson Co. for many years. She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family especially her two sons. Maria loved to cook, enjoyed gardening and enjoyed taking care of people.
Besides her beloved husband Armand, Sr. of over 52 years, she is survived by her sons; Brian Navarro and Armand Navarro, Jr. both of Taunton, she was the loving sister of Agapito Marcucci of FL, Santos Lino Marcucci of RI, and Iris Arruda of CT, and grandmother of Felicia and Justin. She was also the sister of the late Luz Leida Feliciano and the late Daisi Marcucci.
Maria’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 8:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Mary’s Church Broadway, Taunton. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 6th in the Silva Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm.
