Maria L. (Lourenco) Rodrigues, age 82 of Taunton, passed away at her home on December 11, 2017 with the ones she loved by her side.
She was the wife of the late Victorino Rodrigues.
Maria was born in Flores, Azores a daughter of the late Jose and Isabel (Ramos) Lourenco.
Before retirement, Maria was employed with the former Rennie Curtain Co in Taunton. Mrs. Rodrigues love traveling back to the Azores for vacations. Most of all she was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
She was the loving mother of Joe Rodrigues and wife Donna of Taunton, grandmother of Andrew J. Rodrigues and wife Kelly, Joseph Rogers, Jr. and wife Mireille, Jessica Gonzalez and husband Miguel, great-grandmother of Anastasia Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Adrian Gonzalez, Alliyah Gonzalez and Jordan Rogers. She was the sister of Peter Lourenco of CA, Maria Ramos and Inez DeSousa both of Taunton. Maria was also the sister of the late Jose Lorenco.
Maria’s funeral will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 8:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School St, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 15th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
