Maria (Rosareo) Teles, age 98 of Taunton, passed away in her residence with her beloved family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Joao Teles.
Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Marcelino defrias and Maria do Rosario Ambrosio.
Before retiring, Mrs. Teles was employed with Frank Noone Shoe Company as a machine operator for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and cherished time spent with her family.
Besides her beloved husband Joao of over 65 years, she is survived by her loving children; Joao M. Teles, Simon Teles, Joseph Teles, Arcenio Teles, Maria Jose Sousa Bizarro, Leontina Frias Bizarro, Vonda Santos, Maria deFatima DeMedeiros, Gorette Ponte and Connie Dugas, grandmother of 30, great-grandmother of 19. She also leaves many nieces and newpews and was the sister of the late Deolinda Frias Bizarro and Maracoleno Frias.
Maria’s funeral will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 7:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 13th from 4 to 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
