Marinda (Chambers) Amaral, age 85 of East Taunton, passed away on May 9, 2018 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Albert Amaral, Sr.
Marinda was born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Manton and Florence (Avila) Chambers.
Mrs. Amaral was a proud housewife and enjoyed raising her six children. She enjoyed gardening and in earlier years was an avid bowler. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Besides her beloved husband Albert of over 65 years, she is survived by her loving children, David Amaral of Taunton, Albert Amaral, Jr of Brockton, Allyson Cintron of NH, Douglas Amaral, Darrin Amaral and Suzanne LeBrun all of East Taunton, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 5. She was the sister of Bruce Chambers of AZ and sister of the late Joyce Benevides and Celia Smith.
Mrs. Amaral’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. (Additional parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.) Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.
