Marsha J. Nevens, 75, of Raynham, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on January 21st at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Marsha was born on December 28th, 1944 to Wallace and Rita Bousquet of Raynham, MA. She was a bus driver for the Bridgewater-Raynham school district for 37 years. Marsha and her beloved husband Leo Nevens were together for almost 60 years and wed in 1965, going on to have two children, Tracy and Jason.
After retiring in 2013, Marsha spent her time spoiling her grandchildren and her grandpuppy Jake as much as possible and having breakfast at the Milk Bottle. She was an avid football and Nascar fan and a parishioner at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. She enjoyed her annual summer vacations on the water with her family.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Leo; her sister, Nancy (Bousquet) Januse; her daughter, Tracy (Nevens) Correira and her husband Jon-Paul of Raynham, MA; her son, Jason Nevens and his wife Tamara of Milford, MA; and her three grandchildren, Olivia, KyLee, and Jack.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1 to 4 pm with a funeral service to begin at 4 pm in the Silva Funeral home Chapel, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square ) in Taunton, (parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Brigham and Women’s Hospital Development Office, Oncology Department, 116 Huntington Ave, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02116 in Marsha’s memory.
