Martha “Marty” C. (Gulick) Marlowe, age 79 of Taunton, passed away on May 29, 2026.

She was the former wife of James H. Marlowe.

Marty was born in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Earl B. and Martha A. (DeWall) Gulick.

Before retiring, Mrs. Marlowe was employed with State Street Bank as a Data Security Administrator.

Marty enjoyed decorating her home for all of the holidays and going out to eat with friends. What Marty enjoyed most was taking care of her Grandson Zachary. They read, played games and visited or talked often. Any updates or talks with Zachary made her very happy. She loved going on adventures or trips with the family, even when she didn’t know the destination or timeline.

She is survived by her loving daughter Jill Frias and her husband Claudio of Taunton, grandmother of Zachary Frias and Chris Frias and his wife Melissa. Marty also leaves her grand dog her special buddy named Enzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marty’s family on Saturday, JUNE 13, 2026 from 2 to 4pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. 

Her burial will be held privately.

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
