Martha Perry

Martha Perry, age 66, of Taunton, passed away on March 12, 2026 at Hopehealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, from pancreatic cancer.

Born in Taunton, Martha went to Taunton High School. Martha was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Dias) Perry.

Before her illness, Martha was employed with Home Depot and loved working in her garden department.

Martha enjoyed going to the beach, watching gorillas and monkeys on YouTube and listening to music, especially Michael Jackson. She also loved watching Kung Fu fighting movies and just hanging out with her family and friends in her new apartment, which she absolutely loved.

She was the loving mother of Jermaine and Jasmine Perry, grandmother of Justyce Perry, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Bobby Lopes, Loretta Perry, Yvonne Lopes, Roy Perry, Donald Perry, Roger Perry, Alfred Perry and Larry Perry. Sister of the late Troy Perry, Joseph Perry, Carl Perry, Arthur Perry, Robert Perry, Caroline Perry, Ronald Perry, Lena Perry, John Perry, Albert Monterio and Joanne Tillman.

Martha’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 8 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Avenue, East Taunton.

Interment will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.
