Martin W. Pacheco, age 72 formerly of Raynham,, passed away on August 4, 2021 at Maples Nursing Center in Wrentham.
He was the beloved husband of the late Leoda (Scott) Pacheco.
Martin was born in Taunton, the son of the late Manuel and Helen (Martin) Pacheco.
Before retiring, Mr. Pacheco was employed as a union engineer with Local 4 for over fifty years. He enjoyed playing poker, Texas hold’em , he enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR, an avid Red Sox fan, listening to 60’s music and loved all animals especially dogs.
Mr. Pacheco is survived by his two sons; Jamie Pacheco and his wife Kelly ,Tim Pacheco and his wife Lisa. He was the grandfather of 8, great-grandfather of 2 and the brother of Debbie Curtis, Robin Gaspar, Linda Guthrie and Bonnie Davignon. He was also the grandfather of the late Christopher Webber.
Martin’s funeral will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 8:45am with a funeral service to begin at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (At Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Sunday, August 8th from 2 to 5pm. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
