Mary A. (Rogers) Bairos, a resident of Wildwood, FL, died at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, FL on Sept. 16, 2010.
She was 80 years old, and the wife of the late Joseph J. Bairos, who died in 1976.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (O'Toole) Rogers.
Raised and educated in Malden, MA, she was a 1948 graduate of Malden High School.
She later attended the Catherine Gibbs School in Boston.
Mrs. Bairos resided in Lexington, MA for many years, and was employed by the Xerox Corporation as a secretary for over twenty years before retiring and moving to Florida in 1985.
Survivors include a son, Stephen J. Bairos and his wife, Unchong of Valparaiso, FL; a daughter, Carla A. Geagan of Marietta, GA; a brother, John Rogers of Holbrook, MA; two sisters, Anna Todisco of Wildwood, FL and Catherine Souza of Wilmington, MA; four grandchildren, Jarrad Geagan and Veronica Geagan, both of Marietta, GA, and Shonna Bairos and Adam Bairos, both of Valparaiso, FL; two great grandchildren, Jason and Sebastian Geagan, both of Marietta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary's Square, Taunton, MA on Friday, Sept. 24th at 12 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Following the services, she will be interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, prior to the Services.
