Mary K. Brown

Mary Kathleen (Jordan) Brown, age 77, of Berkley, passed away on February 6, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert Brown, with whom she shared over 30-years of love, laughter, and partnership.

Mary was born on Christmas Day 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Whitehead) Jordan.

Mary was a woman of incredible warmth. She had sparkling eyes, a radiant natural beauty, and a sense of humor that could light up even the heaviest of days. Mary had a deep love of animals and a tender heart for all living things, always making space in her home and life for those who needed care.

Mary’s greatest love was her family. Besides her beloved husband Robert, she is survived by her loving children: Travis Yonn; Wendy Jarchow (Jason); Jennifer Hihn (George); and Ali Brown. She was the proud grandmother of Andrew, Jada, Jack, Beatrice, Luke, and Sammy, each of whom carried a special place in her heart.

Mary is also survived by her sisters, Martha Hofstetter (Michael) of Maine and Margaret Demeter of North Carolina, and was predeceased by her brother, Michael Jordan (Sandra). Those who knew Mary will remember her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her extraordinary capacity to love deeply — a love that remains woven into the lives of her children and grandchildren. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will continue to comfort all who knew her.

Funeral services were held privately with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
