Mary Celeste Medeiros, age 85 passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her residence in Berkley, MA.
She was born in Taunton the daughter of the late Alves and Mary (Sousa) Medeiros.
During her lifetime, she was an active homemaker, liked to knit and crochet and was always fond of cats and other animals. Mary was a kind, sweet and generous person to those who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Louise Foster of Florida, a brother; Atty. Alan B. Medeiros of Dighton, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Doris Sousa, Elizabeth Champagne, Francis Medeiros, Edward Medeiros, Richard Medeiros and Joseph Medeiros.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Annunciation of the Lord Church, 31 First Street Taunton.
Interment will be private.
