TAUNTON - Mary C. (Pimentel) Medeiros, wife of the late Joseph I. Medeiros, died at her Taunton home on Sept. 18, 2011.
She was 85.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Agostinho L. and Maria Jose L. (Pacheco) Pimentel.
She was a Taunton resident since 1966.
A communicant of St. Anthony Church, and a homemaker for most of her adult life,
Mrs. Medeiros enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved children and socializing.
Survivors include a brother, Jaime Pimentel and his wife Maria Manuela of Warren, RI; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Jose and Evaristo Pimentel.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, Sept. 24th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m.
