Mary Gloria ( Lima ) Travers, age 84, of Taunton, passed away on November 15, 2024 at Regal Care at Taunton.
She was the wife of Mariano Travers.
Born in Agua D’Alto, Sao Miguel, she was the daughter of the late John and Honorina ( Paiva) Lima.
She worked at Reed and Barton for many years until her retirement.
Besides her beloved husband Mariano of over 60 years, she is survived by her sister Conceicao “Connie” Sardinha and her husband Virginho and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the mother of the late James “Jimmy” Travers and sister of the late John P Lima.
Mary’s funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 9:00am in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Anthony Church, School Street, Taunton.
Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
