Mary “Mae” E. (Dupont) Joaquin, age 102, of Taunton, passed away on February 10, 2025 at Regal Care of Taunton.
She was the wife of the late Gilbert J. Joaquin.
Born in Taunton she was the daughter of the late John and Emily (Silva) Dupont.
Before retiring, she was employed with the Taunton School Department as a cafeteria worker for many years.
She was a longtime parishioner of the Annunciation of the Lord Church and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Mae enjoyed bowling, playing cards and puzzles.
Mrs.Joaquin is survived by her daughters; Dawn Gorman and her husband Thomas, Diane Heath and husband Raymond, brother; Richard Dupont, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Dupont, Danny Dupont, Everett Dupont and Edward Dupont.
Her funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 8:30am with a funeral service to begin at 10:00am in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square)Taunton.
