Merlyn T. (Slack) Larkin, age 73 of Bridgewater, passed away on May 14, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Meenan) Slack.
“Lovingly known as “Queen B” by her late husband, she will be remembered for her deep love of family, especially her children, grandchildren, and cherished role as a great-great grandmother. She found joy in listening to classic rock on her Bose radio, relaxing poolside with her favorite Absolute vodka, Diet Coke, and lime, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Cassie and Alli. A faithful Catholic with a spiritual heart, she adored birds, butterflies, and never went without her signature Chantilly perfume. Her love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed.”
She is survived by her loving children; Elizabeth Carnes, Erin Larkin, Tonya Larkin, grandchildren; Shane Cardin, Mikayla Cardin and her fiance Ryan Johnson, Jacob Carnes, Camren Cardin, Tyler O’Toole, great-grandson; Kaycen Johnson, siblings; Brian Slack, Steven Slack, Lisa Slack, Maryanne Hayden and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Richard Slack and Kevin Slack.
Burial will be held privately.
