Michael S. Callahan, age 63, of Taunton, passed away on June 23, 2018 at his residence.
Michael was born in Taunton a son of the late Stephen and Natalie (Andrade) Callahan Jr.
He was employed as a house manager for Bishop Rocco Home helping many teens throughout their life. He was a friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Michael was an avid Red Sox Fan and was part of APBA baseball for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his siblings; James R. Callahan of Taunton, Richard P. Callahan of Boston, Lois M. Callahan of Fairhaven, Linda Callahan of Taunton and his “Sister” Beth Mahoney of Taunton. He also leaves his nephew Joshua Thompson and wife Amanda, great nephew; Jack Thompson and great niece; Greta Thomas, all of Fayetteville, GA.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 29, 2018 from 4 to 6:30 pm with a funeral service to begin at 6 :30 pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Feel free to wear your red Sox gear.
Burial will be held privately.
