SPENCER - Michael D. Gonsalves, 52, of Spencer, died at UMass Medical Center in Worcester on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016.
He was 52.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of Carolyn (Costa) Gonsalves and the late William Gonsalves, Sr.
He was educated in Taunton and was a 1981 graduate of Taunton High School.
A transportation driver, he was employed by AdCare for the past several years.
Michael loved barbequing, coaching softball and playing golf.
Survivors include his significant other, Carrisa Pawlowski of Spencer; a brother, William Gonsalves, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Taunton; a sister, Dena Gonsalves of Boston; a niece, Tiffany Faria of Marion; and a nephew, William Gonsalves, III of CA.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Thursday, Feb. 25th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary's Church in Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 24th from 5 to 8 p.m.
