Michele Ann Perry

Michele Ann “Mickey” Perry, age 64 of Taunton, passed away on August 26, 2026 at Regal Care of Taunton .

She struggled for years with chronic illness, and debilitating pain, and is now at rest. Michele was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Arnold Perry and MaryAnn (Hall) Valle.

Before her illness, Michele was employed as a Mental Health Worker at Taunton State Hospital, and had been retired for a number of years.

She had a lifetime love of baseball, (GO RED SOX !), and a deep affection for animals, especially her dog(s). It is also worth mentioning that she was a monthly donor to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital for many years.

Michele is survived by her loving siblings, Kim Charette of Taunton, Frank Penacho of Middleboro, John Penacho of NH, Karen Sheffield of Pawtucket and Cindy Anderson of Taunton. Michele was also the best “Auntie” ever, to many nieces and nephews.

She had a beautiful heart, and was kind to all who were lucky enough to know her and call her a friend.

Funeral services were held privately with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton, per her wishes.
