Minnetta (Holmes) Nystrom, age 103 of Taunton, passed away on July
3, 2023 at Life Care Center in Raynham with her loving family by her
side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Nystrom for 52 years.
Born in Easton, Minnetta was the daughter of the late John W. and
Florence B. (Thomas) Holmes.
Mrs. Nystrom enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and
crafts.
Minnetta is survived by her loving children; Ronald C. Nystrom and his
wife Linda of Brockton and Jeffrey E. Nystrom and his wife Annalee of
Taunton. Mrs. Nystrom was also the mother of the late David C.
Nystrom.
She was the grandmother of Michael, Renee and Andrew. She was also the
grandmother to the late Derek S. Nystrom. Minnetta and was great-
grandmother of nine great-grandchildren.
Minnetta’s funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, July 10,
2023 at 8:30 am with a funeral service beginning at 10 am in the Chapel
of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square)
Taunton.
Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to American Cancer Society in
Minnetta’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
