Nancy M. Burchell, 75, of Raynham, passed away in the evening hours of Monday, March 27, 2023, at Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary (Semas) Burchell.
A woman with a great work ethic, Nancy, like much of her family, worked for many years in the Silver Manufacturing Industry. She was employed by Poole Silver, Balfour, and lastly, B & J Manufacturing, before her well deserved retirement.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed listening to country music, especially her favorite artists: Reba McIntyre and Alan Jackson. She liked to crochet and solve cross word puzzles. Above all, Nancy was a dedicated and passionate fan of WWE, where she would cheer on her favorite wrestlers with pride.
Nancy is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was the treasured sister of the late John A. Burchell, Robert E. Burchell, Vivian Enos, Roy Sam Burchell, and Annette Velozo.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 , from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary's Square)
(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home)
Nancy's funeral will begin on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 , at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary's Square)
Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
