Nancy L. (Ferris) Dominick, age 67 of Taunton, passed away on February 7, 2025 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Melvin Dominick, Sr.
Born in Taunton, Nancy was the daughter of the late Francis and Elsie (Moniz) Ferris, Sr.
Before retiring, Mrs. Dominick was employed as a cashier and also worked carpentry with her husband.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, horses, and being a grandmother.
Besides her beloved husband Melvin, Nancy is survived by her Loving children; Ashley Chaves and son-in-law Ryan Chaves of Taunton, and Nicole Dominick of Taunton. She also was a step-mother to her step-children; Melissa Correia, Melvin Dominick II, Jon Dominick and the late Melissa Dominick all of Taunton. She was the proud grandmother of Kyleigh, Elijah, and Audrey Chaves. She was the step-grandmother of Destin Phillinger, Derek Faria, Christopher Wyman, Alicia Correia-Silver, Lylah Dominick, Jamie Dominick, and Lexie Vieira.
She was also the sister of David Ferris, Carol Tuck and late husband Joseph Tuck, William Ferris, Joanne Lawrence and husband Martin Lawrence, the late Robert Ferris, Linda Francken and late husband Steve Francken, the late Francis Ferris, Kenneth Ferris and wife Sandra Ferris, the late Steven Ferris and wife Sandra Ferris, the late Ronald Ferris and wife Robin Ferris, and Jeffrey Ferris. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time, with a celebration of life happening sometime in the spring. A complete obituary with service information will be posted.
