Nancy A. (Silvia) Moitoza, age 76 of Taunton, passed away on December 14, 2022 at her daughters home her loving family by her side, after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Charles J. Moitoza, Sr., whom she loved since the second grade.
Nancy was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabel (Fernandes) Silvia.
Before retiring, Mrs. Moitoza was employed with the former Motorola for many years.
She enjoyed, dancing, going on trips to casinos and traveling. Most of all she cherished time spent with her loving family
Besides her beloved husband Charles of over 56 years, she is survived by her Loving children; Rosemary Marques and husband Tony, Richard Moitoza and wife Lisa both of Taunton and Chuck Moitoza and wife Donna of Norton. She was the grandmother of Brittany, Cameron, Iris, Evan, Victoria, Eric, and Joseph, great-grandmother of Noah and Gavin. Nancy was also the grandmother of the late Brian and sister of the late Carol Baylies. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews , cousins and an her Aunt Irene Fernandes.
Nancy’s funeral will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Annunciation of the Lord Church First Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 18th from 2 to 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
