Nathan Lee Moniz, age 24 of East Taunton, passed away on January 18, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Nathan was born in Boston, the son of Izidro Moniz of East Taunton and the late Juliana (Bergantim) Moniz who passed in 2010. Nathan is also the step-son of Irene (Furtado) Moniz.
Nathan was ill for most of his life but it never stopped him from being happy and spending time with his family at parks, the ocean and anything outdoors. His dad and his late mom Juliana took great care of him making sure he had everything to make him comfortable and happy.
Besides his dad and step-mom, Nathan is survived by two brothers; Tiago Amaral and Brian Rebello both of Taunton.
Nathan’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 9:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Annunciation of the Lord Church First Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 22nd from 4 to 7pm.
