Nathan Vasconcellos, age 57, of Taunton, passed away on May 30, 2018 at his home.
He was the longtime companion of Regina Lopes.
Nathan was born in Taunton, a son of Donald Vasconcellos and the late Margaret (Platt) Correia.
Before retiring in 2014, Nathan was employed with the City of Taunton as a firefighter for over 22 years.
He enjoyed playing guitar, working out and watching western shows, especially Gunsmoke. He was a loving and caring father, of his daughters and animals, and loved spending time with his family.
Besides his beloved longtime companion and best friend of over 20 years Regina , he is survived by his daughters; Margaret Vasconcellos of East Bridgewater, Rebecca Vasconcellos of East Bridgewater, and Lynne Vasconcellos of Taunton, brothers; Edward Vasconcellos of Taunton and Anthony Correia of Taunton, sisters; Jeannie Robertson of Fall River, Kimberly Correia of Middleboro, Donna Foster of Taunton, and Brenda Hubbard, formerly of Taunton. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton from 5 to 8 pm with a funeral home service to begin at 8pm.
(Additional parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
Burial will be private.
