Nichol Neto

Nichol E. Neto, age 49 of Buzzards Bay, passed away on December 23, 2025.

Nichol was born in Stoughton, the beloved daughter of Ruth (Godfrey) Shaw and the late Gregory Neto.

Before her illness, Nichol was self- employed as a online seller.

She enjoyed cooking and baking especially for others. She loved nature and all of her wild animals and she loved feeding them as well. She also loved going on adventures literally anywhere.

Besides her beloved mother Ruth, Nichol is survived by her loving children, Joshua Dutra, Jr and Cailyn Neto. She was also the sister of John Shaw and Kera Shaw. 

Nichol’s funeral will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.

Interment will be held privately.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 9th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Nichol’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
