Niveria Feliciano

Niveria (Pacheco) Feliciano, age 85 of Taunton, passed away on September 5, 2026 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel P. Feliciano of 54 years who passed in 2018.

Niveria was born in Terceira, Azores, a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (dos Santos Amaral) Pacheco.

Before retiring, Mrs. Feliciano was employed with Texas Instruments as a machine operator for many years.

She enjoyed taking daily walks with her beloved husband Manuel, giving back to the community by visiting the elderly at a local nursing home and spending time surrounded by her family. She had a love for singing, treasured simple moments in life and could always be counted on to enjoy a bowl of her favorite ice cream (which was any flavor). She enjoyed vacations to Terceira, Azores. Always kind and generous to anyone in need, even if just for a big hug. She loved people and was a social butterfly. Above all, her greatest joy was being with the people she loved most.

Niveria is survived by her children, Roger M. Feliciano of Taunton and Dina F. Rocha and spouse Fernando J Rocha of Rehoboth. She was the grandmother of Sonia Resendes and fiance Mark Volner, Veronica Feliciano and partner Jose Espada Jr., great-grandmother of Logan Resendes. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Pacheco, Alcinda Avila and Maria Nunes. Also, part of her life and family, Jason R. Resendes, Margarida Medeiros, Julia Rodrigues Feliciano.

Niveria’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
