Norberto M. Carvalho, age 83 of Raynham, passed away at his residence on July 22, 2021 with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Maria (Bettencourt) Carvalho.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Herculano and Maria (Melo) Carvalho.
Before retiring, Norberto was employed with the Hallamore Corp as a union laborer for many years.
Mr. Carvalho enjoyed gardening, growing his own tobacco and loved all animals. He always looked forward to spending time with his devoted family and friends.
Besides his beloved wife Maria of over 53 years, he is survived by his two loving sons; Antonio M. Carvalho and his wife Ida Tome and Gualberto Carvalho and his wife Sue both of Taunton. He was the grandfather of Emma, Ashton and Katelyn and the brother of Gualberto, Herculano, Jose, Joao Carvalho, Olga Bartolomeu, Eduarda Carvelho and Germana Pereira. Mr. Carvalho was also the brother of the late Antonio Carvalho, Conceieao Carvelho and the late Angelia Cabral.
Norberto’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 7:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
