Orlando Ortiz

Orlando Ortiz, 52, of Taunton, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of Jaime Ortiz and the late Blanca (Sanchez) Ortiz.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his father, he leaves his three daughters, Kisha M. Mateo, of Taunton, Bianca M. Ortiz, of Attleboro, and Yolanda L. Bernier, and her husband, Callan, of Fall River; a brother, Jaime Ortiz, of Taunton; a sister, Olga Marrero, of Taunton; five grandchildren, Damian Sproul, Alexander McElroy, Isaac Cleary, Colby Cleary, and Keegan Cleary; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square) followed by a graveside service at 1:30 pm in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Facial coverings and social distancing will be required during all services.
