Pamela J. (Martin) Souza, age 64 of Florida and formerly of Taunton passed away on November 23, 2023 at Halifax Health Hospice Care in Port Orange, FL with her loving daughters and sister by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Alvin “Al” G. Souza, Jr who passed in 2014. Pam was born in Virginia, the daughter of the late Rosemarie (Correia) Martin. Before retiring, Pam was employed with the City of Taunton, as the assistant city treasurer. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping and spending time at Daytona Shores beach with her sister. Before the loss of her husband, she enjoyed many family camping trips and spending time with friends. Mrs. Souza is survived by her daughters, her “girls”, Kristyne Sherman and husband Stephen Jr, Amanda K. Power and husband Robert,III all of Taunton, and her grandchildren Brinsley and Brayson Sherman, Arianna, Aiden, Alyvia and Andrew Power. Pam was also the sister of Michael Martin and Kathleen White of FL.
Mrs. Souza's funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9am followed by funeral service at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North Side of the funeral home.
