Patrica A. (Cavaco) Lima

EAST TAUNTON - Patricia A. (Cavaco) Lima, 60, died peacefully, surrounded by her family at Mass. General Hospital on April 24, 2011.
She was the wife of James M. Lima, to whom she was married for over 39 years.
Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Murray) Cavaco.
She was a 1959 graduate of Our Lady of Fatima High School in Warren, RI, and a 1972 graduate of St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River.
A resident of the Taunton area for the past 39 years, she was employed by Morton Hospital & Medical Center, where she worked as an RN for over thirty-two years, primarily in intensive care and post operative recovery.
She retired three years ago.
Mrs. Lima was a communicant of Holy Family Church, and a member of the Mothers of Twins Club.
She enjoyed reading, computer games, and most of all being with her family.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Kathryn A. Lima, Karen A. Lima, and Nancy A. Lima-Menard and her husband Daniel A. Menard, Jr., all of E. Taunton; five brothers, Joseph, Michael, Thomas, Robert and James Cavaco; two sisters, Margaret DiIorio and Christine Souza; two aunts; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Marybeth Lima, and the sister of the late Elizabeth Cavaco.
A memorial mass will be held at Holy Family Church at a time to be announced.
