Paul Richard Lane, age 77 of Raynham, passed away on March 23, 2024 at Brigham & Women's Hospital.
Paul, son of the late Daniel and Dorothea (Collins) Lane, beloved husband of Lois (Dutra) Lane for 51 years and cherished father and grandfather was born in Fall River, MA and raised in Tiverton, RI. Before his retirement, Paul was employed with BAE Systems as Director of Operations in Information & Electronic Warfare Systems.
Paul enjoyed most being a grandfather and was an adored Papa to his 5 grandchildren: Chloe & Caiden Dyer and Andrew, Thomas and Landon Lane. He was their #1 fan at so many of their sporting events cheering for his family and community. He served as Treasurer to the Raynham Lions Club for many years and enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships he formed with his fellow clubmates. Paul was known for joking with the locals at the pharmacy, post office, dry cleaners, and visiting the Raynham Town Hall and was a proud University of Rhode Island alumni and loved catching up and spending time with his fraternity brothers.
Paul is survived by his wife Lois, his loving children Keith Lane and wife Laurie of Bridgewater, Kimberly Lane and Alejandro Necochea of Melrose, and Kristen Lane and husband Shawn Dyer of Raynham.
Funeral services will be held at a future date at St. Anne’s Church in Raynham, MA and a private burial in Tiverton, RI.
