Paul S. Taylor, age 77 of Raynham, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Harold and Myrtle (Thayer) Taylor. He was a longtime resident of Brockton, graduating from Brockton High School and Newbury College. Paul enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably during the Viet Nam War.

Before retiring he was a plant foreman at Ohio Sealy Mattress in Randolph, and was a truck driver and mechanic at various locations in the Brockton area.

He enjoyed a lifetime love of music, and was an accomplished pianist. He also excelled at several other instruments, including electric and bass guitar. He was the former President of the Massachusetts Country Music Awards Association, and volunteered for many years at the Raynham Food Pantry. He was a proud veteran, and member of the American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He was an avid motorcycle rider, organizing annual bike runs to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Everyone he met became a friend, and he was the guy you could always count on to show up for a friend in need of help.

He is survived by his loving daughter; Michelle Littlefield and her husband David “D.J.”, son Mark Taylor; long-time companion Theresa Willett, and her family, including her children Tanya Couto and Walter Egli; grandchildren; Lyndsey Littlefield and her fiancé Kyle, Lilly Littlefield, Alanna Taylor, Alyssa Taylor, and A.J. Egli; brother Richard Taylor and his wife Linda, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Lisa Taylor and brother of the late Edwin Taylor, Walter Taylor and George Taylor. He was also survived by a loving healthcare worker, Jamielee Horgan, and a loyal band of motorcycle brothers.

Paul’s funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 9:00am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Funeral Home Service to begin at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Northville Cemetery, Oak Street East Bridgewater.
