Paula Chase Marino, of Raynham, born in Taunton Massachusetts passed away from complications with cancer on April 9th, 2019 at Brigham & Women's hospital, Boston. She was the daughter of Stephanie (Bury) Martyniak and the late John Martyniak of Taunton, widow of Michael Chase, sister to Stephen Martyniak and his wife Nora, wife of Anthony Marino, and mother to Christopher Marino.
Paula, born August 3rd 1948, was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and teacher, with an amount of passion and caring seldom equaled.
As a teacher in the Taunton school system for many years, she touched the lives of hundreds of children that benefited from her compassion and guidance.
She dedicated her life to the happiness and wellbeing of her family and did what she could to provide for them.
Paula enjoyed gardening, learning to cook new recipes, traveling, and had an affinity for animals, especially those she took into her home. She also found joy in her faith, which gave her comfort and guidance in life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Kilmer Avenue, Taunton. Relatives and friends may meet directly at church. Interment will be held privately.
