Paula Whitaker, age 58 of Taunton, passed away on May 17, 2018 at Saint Anne’s Hospital.
Paula was born in Middleboro, a daughter of the late James and Eliza (Jefferson) Whitaker.
Before retirement due to illness, Paula worked for over 28 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a caregiver for those who were disabled.
She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and enjoyed helping family and friends.
She is survived by her loving son James A. Whitaker and her two sisters, Betty Thorne and Diana Reynolds both of Taunton.
A celebration of Paula’s life will take place on Saturday evening, May 26, 2018 in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton from 5 to 8 pm, with words of remembrance beginning at 7pm.
(Additional parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
Interment will be privately held.
