Payao (Puangparn) Lopes, age 84 of Raynham, passed away on February 26, 2023, at Hellenic Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.
Born in Thailand, she was the daughter of the late Kularb and Kod Puangparn of Thailand.
She was the wife of Ronald Lopes. Payao immigrated from Thailand in 1975 after meeting her husband Ronald Lopes who at the time served as a Sargent in the United States Airforce. She worked for many years with the Kopin Corporation in the Taunton Industrial Park in Myles Standish. Payao, an avid cook and gardener, loved preparing big meals for her family and anyone who enjoyed a good meal. She loved growing flowers and vegetables and spent time raising Koi fish and taking care of her pond. When she wanted to relax, she loved nothing more than enjoying listening to old time Thai music and watching her favorites movies from her time growing up as a girl in Thailand.
Besides her beloved husband Ronald of 55 years, she is survived by her children; Kulnathee Ifill and her husband Pamerson, Jintana Imnopparat, Sudkanung Jitmun, Tharinee Oy Srisathith, Padungpong Sangsin, and many grandchildren; Kasia Ifill, Kaison Ifill, Kathaiana Ifill, Nutthapon Srisathth, Nutthavut Srisathith, Natthinee Srisathith, Suppasit Imnopparat, Watcharin Jitmum, and Pimmada Sangsin. She also leaves her cousin Daniel Silvia and his wife Patricia, sister-in-law Donna Bell and more family members, loved ones, and friends.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
