Pearlie Mae (Ice) Greene, age 97, formerly of Taunton, passed away on April 25, 2020 at Hathaway Manor in New Bedford.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jefferson D. Greene, Sr.
Pearlie was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, a daughter of the late Andrew and Gertrude (Sims) Ice.
She volunteered at a local food pantry, the former TLC in Taunton, for many years and donated to several charities regularly. Mrs. Greene loved Jesus, sports, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her sons, Jefferson D. Greene, Jr and Paul A. Greene. Pearlie is also survived by her loving granddaughters, Kimberly Harrison and Catrina Greene as well as five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Greene was the mother of the late Philip A. Greene, the late Linda D. Houston and the late Donna M. Greene.
Private services with the family will be held at the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
