NORTON - Priscilla M. (Thurston) Motta, formerly of Taunton, died at her Norton home on Aug. 15, 2013.
She was 71.
Born and raised in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Higginbotham) Thurston.
She was the wife of David A. Motta for the past fifty-two years.
A homemaker for most of her adult life, Mrs. Motta enjoyed sewing, doll making and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Brian K. Motta of Attleboro; a daughter, Karen M. Jencks and husband Harry of Warwick, RI; six grandchildren, Jason, Brandi, Amanda, Amy, Brad and Greg; two great grandchildren, Shyla and Gabrielle; a brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Sunday, Aug. 18th at 5:30 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. prior to the services.
