Raymond Machado, Jr.

Raymond Machado, Jr. age 64 of Raynham, passed away at his residence on December 22, 2017.

Ray was born in Taunton, MA, a son of the late Raymond and Ermina (Nascimento) Machado, Sr.

Before retirement, Special Officer Machado was employed with the Raynham Police Dept. for 32  years as the Supervisor of all Communication with 911 Dispatch. He was also a former volunteer member of the Raynham Fire Dept as well as a plumber.

An avid fisherman, Ray was a member of the Rayn-Water Bass Club.  He also enjoyed playing softball, hockey and basketball with some great friends.

Mr. Machado is survived by his extended family, Mark and Tara Reed of Raynham, and grandchildren  Natalie, Jake, Matthew and Timothy Reed. As well as his friends at the Raynham Police and Fire Dept.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday , December 27, 2017 at 10 am in Saint Ann Church North Main Street in Raynham. (Relatives and friends may meet directly at church) Interment will follow in Pleasant Street Cemetery.
