TORRINGTON, CT - Raymond F. Mort, formerly of Taunton, MA, died unexpectedly at his Torrington, CT home on Jan. 13, 2014.
He was 35.
Born in Manchester, NH, he was the son of Evelyn (Niro) Bruso of Taunton, MA and the late David Mort.
Raised and educated in Foxboro, MA and Taunton, MA, in his spare time, Ray enjoyed video and online gaming; music, DJing, snow skiing, and spending time with his children, Andrew, Gavin and Alexia Mort, all of CT.
In addition to his mother and children, he leaves his fiance, Nichole Torneo of Torrington; three sisters, Candace, Shannon and Ashley Mort, all of Taunton; his stepfather, Thomas Bruso of Taunton; his paternal grandmother, June Mort of Plainville, MA; several siblings in New Hampshire; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary's Square, Taunton on Saturday, Jan. 18th from 3 to 6 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Cremation will take place later at Woodlawn-North Purchase Crematory in Attleboro, MA.
