Becky Norris of Raynham MA, formerly of Taunton and Port Charlotte FL passed peacefully in her sleep on July 12, 2024 at her home in Raynham with her husband by her side.
Wife of William (Bill) Norris of Raynham, and mother of Lori Ann Breault of Taunton who preceded her, Becky was born in Taunton to Ramona L. Weeks and Antone R Silva of Taunton and Hope R.I. respectively. Sister to Michael R Silva who preceded her, Anne M Eckman, and twin brother Roger Silva. She was also a proud aunt to thirteen nieces and nephews, and fourteen great nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School, Becky held various employment positions throughout her career including Customer Service Representative with Whittenton Garment Company, Bookkeeper for the United Way of Greater Taunton Attleboro, Bookkeeper for Handi Kids Therapeutic Riding Center and Day Camp (The Bridge Center) and several other construction, printing, and restaurant specialty food businesses.
Becky was loved very much by her husband Bill and resided in Raynham where she was encouraged to pursue one of her greatest joys in life; raising, training, and showing Paint, Pinto and Quarter Horses as well as loving and caring for many ponies, miniature horses, canines and felines. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Wintering in Florida, and long rides on their motorcycles.
Becky’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday , July 17, 2024 at 9:30am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her late daughter.
