TAUNTON - Reginald G. Phillips of Taunton, husband of Rose (Moriarty) Phillips for the past forty-five years, died at Taunton's Morton Hospital on Feb. 7, 2015.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, he was the son of the late Reginald and Charlotte (Grady) Phillips.
A retired dry cleaner, Mr. Phillips owned and operated Brava Cleaners in Weymouth Landing from 1970 to 1986, before moving to Taunton where he resided for the past twenty-one years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Stephen and Jeff Phillips, both of Comox, British Columbia, Canada; a daughter, Cindi Pasanen of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; a brother, Allen Phillips of Prince Edward Island, Canada; four grandchildren, Michelle, Caitlin, Chelsea and Brianna; a great-grandchild, Mathias; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Bobby, Jamie and Sterling Phillips and Kay Hale.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, February 14th at 3 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
