Richard “PaPa” Del Solio, age 78 of Taunton, passed away at his residence on June 18, 2025 with his loving family and dogs Sully and Maggie by his side.
He was the beloved husband of the late Pearl V. (Lambert) Del Solio.
Born in Taunton, MA. He is survived by his sister Marilyn Sikorski of Taunton, and predeceased by his parents Joseph and Emily (Saunders) Del Solio, his sister Sheila and brother in law Ronnie Silvia and brother Joseph Del Solio.
Richard is survived by his loving daughters, Miranda Robicheau and her husband (Richard’s Favorite) Mike of Taunton and Jenna DeSilvia and her companion Todd Trafton of Ogunquit, Maine, grandchildren, Amanda and Dustyn Del Solio, Tyler and his significant other Elisabeth Burke and Ian Robicheau and his significant other Makayla Pimental; his best friend and “son” Billy McElroy and his wife Barbara.
He will also be missed by his favorite nephews Duane Silvia, Shawn-Dawg Silvia and Ronnie Jr. Silvia who always took him on a food adventures full of laughs and walks down memory lane.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 3 to 6pm with a funeral service to begin at 5:30pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
His burial will be held privately.
