Richard F. White, age 87 of East Taunton, passed away on December 17, 2021 at Morton Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Debra (Reynolds) White and the late Joan (Picard) White.
Richard was born in Dighton, the son of the late Frank and Sarah (Rapoza) White.
Before retiring, Mr. White was employed by the US Postal Service as the Post Master in East Taunton. He was also the owner and operator of Double Twelve Lounge in East Taunton.
Richard served his country with the Army during the Korean Conflict.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening.
Besides his beloved wife Debra of over 23years, he is survived by his children; Richard White and his wife Lisa of E. Taunton, Raymond White and his wife Paula of Raynham, Sarah Hartung and her husband Keith of Taunton, Cheryl Weatherell of Taunton, his step-children; Raymond Aguiar and his wife Hildie of Freetown, Kevin Aguiar of Middleboro and Michael Aguiar of Fall River. He was also the grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 1 and the brother of the late Francis E. White.
Mr. White’s funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10am followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment with military honors will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
