Richard D. Guay, age 81 of Swansea, passed away on May 16, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Mary (Riley)Guay.
Born in Fall River, Richard was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Furtado) Guay.
He was a loving and caring man who cherished time spent with his family. He was a life member of the Saint John's Club, Warren Portuguese-American Club, he enjoyed traveling, woodworking and yard work.
Besides his beloved wife Mary of over 21 years, he is survived by his step-children: David, Kevin,and Nancy Euhus all of Swansea, James Euhus of IL, Alice Euhus of FL and the late Timothy Euhus. He was the grandfather of 14, great-grandfather of 6 he leaves 3 niece and 1 nephew. he was also the brother of the late Donald Guay.
Visiting hours will begin on Saturday at 2 pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton, a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
Burial will be held privately.
