Mr. Richard W. Bentley, Sr. age 78 and Mrs. Mary (Falconi) Bentley, age 79, passed away on May 13, 2022.
Richard was born in Taunton, the son of the late George and Edith (Haskins) Bentley, Mary was born in Marlboro the daughter of the late James and Irene (Rogers) Falconi.
Before retiring, Mr. Bentley was employed with Bridgewater State College and Mrs. Bentley was employed with K Mart as a clerk for many years.
Richard was an avid Elvis collector and enjoyed Going on car rides, Mary was an Eagle statue collector and enjoyed attending her Kmart breakfast meetings.
Richard and Mary cherished time spent with family, and most of all loved being together. Both are survived by their grandchildren Corey Gee, Kyle Bentley Cheyenne Bentley and Kevin Bentley and great grandchildren Theo Stasi, Solomon Gee, Adrienne Gee. They were also the parents of the late Richard W. Bentley, Jr.
Visiting hours for both Mary and her husband Richard will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 beginning at 4pm in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. A service will begin at 7pm. Interment will be held privately in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, NH.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
