Robert F. Ferrie, 94, of East Taunton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2020 surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of Albina D. (McCann) Ferrie.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Vieira) Ferrie.
He served his country proudly in WWII in the United States Navy.
Bob worked as a plastic die maker for many years. Before retiring in 1988 he was co-owner of Rock Tool & Die Company.
Besides his loving wife of over 67 years, he is survived by his children; Paul D. Ferrie and wife Miler and Norma J. Ferrie. He also leaves a grandson and sister; Margaret Ducharme.
Bob’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 9am followed by a funeral service at 11am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment with Military honors will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
