Robert Francis "Little Bob" Fitzgerald, husband of Rose (Lima) Fitzgerald, died on Thursday, Sept. 4th at the Golden Living - Wedgemere Nursing Center at the age of 85.
Born in Rockland, he was educated in Rockland area schools, and later served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
Moving to the Taunton area many years ago, he worked as an electrician's assistant for the Federal Government, until retiring many years ago.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert Turner of CA; a daughter, Carol Von Dembrowski of RI; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was a 42 year friend of Bill W.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Monday, Sept. 8th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, Kilmer Ave. Taunton at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
