Robert E. Foley, age 89, of Taunton, passed away on September 3, 2026, at Morton Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the husband of Takouhi (Gulian) Foley.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Bartholomew and Beatrice (LeFrancois) Foley.
Robert was married to the love of his life for over 54 years. They met at the EXPO in Montreal, Canada, and shared many wonderful years together.
He worked at Royal Label as a printer for over 40 years.
Over the years, his hobbies included being an avid walker and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially loved taking them to the train station to watch the trains go by.
Robert enjoyed watching sports and listening to Eddie Andelman on the radio while sitting on the porch. He loved his wife’s cooking and also had a great appreciation for Middle Eastern food and music.
If you knew Robert, you would remember him for his unique sense of humor and the joy he brought to those around him.
Besides his beloved wife Takouhi of 54 years, he is survived by his children; Rosemary Dunbar and husband John, Christine Cataloni and husband Neil, David Foley and wife Courtney, grandchildren; Shane Foley, Kalysta Cataloni, Devin Foley, Kolton Cataloni, Maya Dunbar, Abby Dunbar, and Briella Foley. He was the brother of the late Marianne Harribine.
Services will be held privately.
Arrangements were made with Silva Funeral Home, Taunton.
