ROBERT JOSEPH MONIZ, 64, of Fall River passed into eternal peace on June 14, 2021. Born in Fall River; he was the favorite son of the late Lorraine and Robert Moniz.
“Uncle Bob” as he was known to everyone, was the husband and partner in crime of Attorney Rene Brown for 41 years, and the father of Robert “Bobby” Brown of Lantana, Florida.
Uncle Bob spent many years as a lobsterman, and some of his favorite times were spent aboard the lobster boat Edna May.
He spent his lifetime believing in the mantra, “everything is gonna be ok,” and his outlook on life, as well as his kindness toward others reflected that.
Uncle Bob enjoyed rock & roll music, his pets, and his family, but his greatest joys in life were the birth of his son Bobby, and his “Gawd Damn Patriots.” In the end, Uncle Bob found peace and forgiveness for Tom Brady leaving the Patriots.
He leaves his wife Rene Brown, his son Robert "Bobby" Brown, Declan Carmichael, Blake Bernat, Emma Bernat, Shayna Carmichael, Jackelyn Carmichael, Adam Bernat, Desi Dopart, Bella and Callie; and many, many friends and family.
Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him, and he will leave a tapestry of the memories he helped create with his kind nature, his easy-going spirit, and his love of life.
A Celebration of Uncle Bob’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on July 3rd, 2021 at 747 Weetamoe Street in Fall River. (Further details will be shared here in the coming days)
